BUILDING HISTORY
Acacia at 2 Peninsula Drive, Breakfast Point was built by Richard Crookes Construction and was handed over to its first owners in late 2012. It is pleasing to note that a number of the initial owners, who bought "off the plan" still reside in the building or still own units in the 50 unit block.

Rose Corporation, the developers of Breakfast Point, finally completed the last building on the former Australian Gas Light Company site in early 2022. AGL had been active on this site for more than 100 years, and at its peak, employed more than 5000 workers on the site.

2022 saw the completion of the building refurbishment which included external re-painting, new internal common-area lighting, new carpets and soft furnishing adjacent to the lift on each level. It is hoped that this refurbishment will see the building presented in pristine condition for more than 10 years. We should acknowledge the significant input of Rose Samuels who oversaw much of the $500,000 refurbishment.
